The Margalla Hills rise directly behind Islamabad, a ridge of green, forested trails that most residents admire from a distance and rarely explore properly. Manor House arranges it properly.

We select a secluded spot along the trails, away from the walking paths and the ordinary routes. Our kitchen prepares a private hamper — packed with care, not convenience. A blanket set on hillside grass, the city stretched out below, and nothing in particular that needs to happen next.
